![]() ![]() Now, looking at Busch Gardens I can absolutely say that is my kind of place and I'm pretty jealous it's right in your back yard! I particularly love that they have wildlife conservation efforts as a big part of their focus. Even my kids like it better than DisneyI guess I could revise my initial statement to include that for me personally it really comes down to the fact that I'm not a huge fan of roller coaster and similar ride centered parks. If we get a season pass to one, it will most likely be to Busch Gardens. I am lucky enough to live in Orlando, so I have all of these parks in my back yard. I like the real coasters of Busch Gardens much better than the 3-D rides at Universal. An amusement park doesn't waste money on the theme, they just build awesome coasters. Busch Gardens in Tampa is far superior to Disney or Universal. There are already many specific theme parks around the world that cater to all sorts of interests like LEGOLAND, Disney's new Avatar theme park, and according to this recent article a WWE Theme Park may even be in the works.īut SpiceHeads, I'm curious to know what kind of theme park you would be most excited to see was opening? It could be based off of a movie franchise, a book series or even just a specific interest, but I want to know what theme park you would be most excited to see was opening one day!ĭavidr4 wrote:I personally am the complete opposite. As someone who is a huge fan of Miyazaki's films, this is a theme park I think I would love to visit! For example, I recently came across a VICE Creators article announcing a Studio Ghibli Theme Park based on My Neighbor Totoro, a Studio Ghibli film by Hayao Miyazaki. If a park's theme is created around something I already enjoy, the immersive experience of visiting that kind of theme park seems much more exciting. That being said, I'm always intrigued by theme parks and areas that are based off of films, books or other specific interests like Universal Studios' The Wizarding World of Harry Potter themed area. I personally have never been a huge fan of generic amusement parks, or generic amusement park rides.
